This monumental music event on July 7th will bring together more than 2 billion people to raise awareness about global warming. Over 24 hours the 150 biggest names in music will perform across seven continents. Taking to the stage at London's new Wembley Stadium will New York's Hip-Hop finest the Beastie Boys, the "Queen of Pop" Madonna, Californian sunny boys Red Hot Chili Peppers, heavy metal legends Metallica, Britain's favourite live act Kasabian, New-Wave icons Duran Duran, Ireland's top songwriter Damian Rice, Shoreditch's coolest gang from Bloc Party, newcomer soul bird Corinne Bailey Ray, pop veterans Genesis, Her Majesty's ex-officer James Blunt and tight white jeans lovers Razorlight. To complete the impressive line-up the allegedly nicest man in Rock, Dave Grohl, and his Foo Fighters will play and also the Sussex-boys from Keane, Chicago pianist John Legend, fun four-piece Black Eyed Peas, Scotland's most handsome Italian export Paolo Nutini and the car chasing Snow Patrol.
