Adele leads the pack for Q Awards
Soul singer Adele has been nominated in three separate categories at this year's Q Awards, a feat that will delight those with Adele tickets.
Also up for three awards are quirky, pop soloist Jessie J and northern indie rockers Arctic Monkeys.
Following this with a brace of nominations each is Coldplay, Ed Sheeran and recent Mercury Prize-winner PJ Harvey.
Having racked up record breaking album sales in the millions, Adele could be a favourite to win her category of best female artist, which she shares with Laura Marling, Beyonce, Jessie J and PJ Harvey.
Her hit singles Rolling In The Deep and Someone Like You are up for the best track award.
Despite her enormous success in the UK and around the world, she has not made the running for the best act in the world. This is reserved for leading rock acts of today, which are Muse, Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, Arcade Fire and U2.
The ceremony will be held at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Monday October 24th.
