Aerosmith rock Download
Those with tickets to this weekend's Download Festival were treated to an energetic performance by rock legends Aerosmith.
The US band, who headlined the event on Sunday (June 13th), seemed happy to be playing their first UK gig since 2007.
After their second song of the evening lead singer Steven Tyler yelled to the crowd "Britain! Did you miss us?"
They also showed no signs of the divisions that came close to splitting the band up in recent months.
In late 2009, Tyler had announced he was leaving the band, leading to a dispute between him and guitarist Joe Perry amid speculation Aerosmith may not continue.
However, after putting aside their differences the band reformed earlier this year in time for a summer tour.
And at last night's performance, Perry introduced Tyler to the crowd as "the best lead singer on the planet".
The band play the O2 Arena in London tomorrow night (June 15th).
