Andy Murray has a dig at critics on Twitter

Andy Murray, who could be entertaining fans at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals later this year, has used Twitter to level some thinly veiled criticism at tennis pundits.

Commentators such as John Lloyd were critical of Murray's attitude following his defeat to Rafael Nadal in the semi-finals at Wimbledon this year.

The Scottish player hit back at the comments in the media and has now aimed another backhanded swipe at television tennis experts by speaking about the commentary for golf's Open Championship, which took place over the weekend.

He tweeted: "Enjoying listening to the golf commentary, calm, positive, entertaining, insightful and no big egos ... Refreshing."

Tennis fans with Barclays ATP World Tour Finals tickets will be able see Murray's fighting spirit out on the court, as long as the 24-year-old Scot is still ranked among the world's top eight players at the end of the season.

The tournament will be played at the O2 arena from November 20th to 27th.
