Andy Murray starts well at Monte Carlo Masters
Tennis fans who already have their ATP World Tour Finals Tickets could be eagerly watching all the action at the Monte Carlo Masters to see how their favourite players are likely to fare.
The clay court competition takes place from April 14th to 22nd and will see world number two Rafael Nadal attempt to retain his title.
Britain's Andy Murray was in action today (April 19th) and will face Tomas Berdych in the quarter-finals after defeating Julien Benneteau when the Frenchman was forced to retire due to an ankle injury.
Murray has never won a clay court title and will be looking to reach the semi-finals for the third time in four years.
A strong performance could also put him in good stead for ATP tennis O2 and some of the bigger competitions later in the year.
Serbian Novak Djokovic, who is currently ranked world number one, will no doubt be hoping to take the Monte Carlo crown from Nadal and started his campaign by winning his second round match against Italy’s Andreas Seppi 6-1 6-4.
