Arctic Monkeys looking to record in London

The Monkeys are looking to record in east London

The Arctic Monkeys are already thinking about their fourth album, if media reports are to be believed.

According to The Sun, the Monkeys are on the lookout for a new spot to record their album in the east end of the capital.

A source told the tabloid: "Studio costs are astronomical, so it makes financial sense to set up independently."

It would also be easier for the band to continue with their social life, with Alex's girlfriend Alexa Chung having many friends who hang out in the east of the city, including Alfie Allen and Pixie Geldof.

Although Turner is perhaps the best known member of the band, three fellow members make up the Arctic Monkeys; Jamie Cook on guitar, Nick O'Malley on bass guitar and Matt Helders on drums.

The four-piece will be playing a number of big gigs in the UK next month, including Wembley Arena on November 17th and 18th and the Manchester Evening News Arena on November 21st.
