Arctic Monkeys win Best Live Act at Q Awards
Yesterday's Q Awards was successful for the Arctic Monkeys, who managed to pick up a prestigious gong.
The Sheffield band managed to beat U2, Kasabian, Blur and Take That to pick up the prize for Best Live Act at the awards in central London yesterday.
Although they lost out in other categories, the news will likely excite people with plans to head out and see them on tour next month.
The band is set to play the Manchester Evening News Arena and Wembley Arena on their UK tour and fans will want to check out if they are as good as the Q Award suggests they are.
Arctic Monkeys, who are perhaps most famous for their debut song I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor, have won a number of big awards in the past including the 2006 Mercury Music Prize and two Brits for Best British Band and Best British Album.
