Aston from JLS bemoans lack of 'normal' girls
JLS star Aston Merrygold has revealed that he sometimes gets irritated by the female attention he receives.
The singer told Closer magazine that his fame can make it difficult to meet "normal" girls.
"I've yet to meet a girl who's actually come up to me and been normal. They don't say, 'I enjoy your work.' They say, 'What are you doing after, can I have your number?'," said Aston.
The 22-year-old also complained that on some occasions when the boys are quietly enjoying a bottle of champagne, girls will come up and pour themselves a glass without asking.
"Many a time I'll say seriously, 'Put the bottle down!' Then they'll tell me that I'm rude," he said.
Aston recently denied reports in the press that he is dating glamour model Sophie Houghton.
JLS play their next UK show at the Royal Albert Hall on March 28th as part of the Teenage Cancer Trust charity gig series.
