Band buy 400 shots of tequila ahead of Kings of Leon concert
The night before playing in front of thousands of fans with Kings of Leon tickets in London this week, the band hit the town on a £3,000 bender.
According to the Sun, after drinking in several bars in the city ahead of their O2 Arena gig last night (June 1st), the Kings of Leon ended up in a swanky Mayfair club.
When there they made themselves popular with the punters by buying 400 shots of tequila for everyone in the club at a cost of £3,000.
"The lads strolled in with their burly bodyguards completely unannounced," a source told the newspaper.
"The club sorted out a roped-off VIP area which quickly caught the attention of clubbers, especially the female contingent.
"The lads were up for causing a bit of mischief so they ordered the mega round of tequilas which went down a storm."
Later this month, the Kings of Leon play two massive outdoor gigs in London's Hyde Park, taking place on June 22nd and 23rd.
