Band to write new material after Suede concert?
Following Suede tickets going on sale today (January 28th), the band could write new material, it has been suggested.
It has been eight years since the group's last new song, 2003's Attitude/Golden Gun single, which came out shortly before the band split.
However, following their reunion last summer, singer Brett Anderson has hinted that new material has not been ruled out.
But, speaking to Xfm, he revealed that he regrets the band's last album, 2002's New Morning, and assured fans nothing would be released "unless I was really, really excited about it".
"One thing I've really learned from re-forming the band is what I've regretted releasing," he said.
"Maybe the last Suede album, the reaction to it. I kind of regret that. Nothing would see the light of day unless I was really, really excited about it. So there's a possibility we could do some writing together but no one ever knows about it."
Tickets go on sale today for three Suede gigs at the O2 Academy in Brixton on May 19th, 20th and 21st.
