Bastareaud predicts 'huge physical battle' with England in Six Nations
Ticket holders to England's upcoming Six Nations clash with France can expect a highly physical game, according to Mathieu Bastareaud.
The France centre has warned England that his team will be taking the match very seriously as they look to secure a grand slam victory.
He also claimed that France are fully prepared for England's physicality and are capable of countering it, the Telegraph reports.
"We are going to prepare for this match in a serious manner. We are expecting a huge physical battle," he told the news provider.
"It is imperative that we stick to our gameplan. Of course they will take us on in the physical areas but we have largely the means to reply to them effectively."
France will also look to last year's 34-10 defeat at Twickenham as an extra motivational factor, said Bastareaud.
France take on England at the Stade de France on Saturday, March 20th. Meanwhile, in Saturday's other Six Nations fixtures, Italy play Wales in Cardiff and Ireland are at home to Scotland.
