Beady Eye tour: I’m not in it for the money, says Liam Gallagher
With the current Beady Eye tour of the UK underway, frontman Liam Gallagher has said that he is not motivated to make music by the money.
The singer, who formed Beady Eye along with ex members of Oasis after brother Noel quit the band, says it is a love of what he does that keeps him going.
"People think when you've got money it just stays in a big pile forever, but you spend it, don't you? You've got to work and keep busy, or you'll go mad," he told the Press Association.
"And I'm not doing this because of money, it's because I love it, and I don't have a choice. I didn't think 'I'd like to join a band' and then join one - it happened to me."
Liam’s comments come as Beady Eye continue an extensive UK tour this month, which sees them play Rock City in Nottingham tonight (April 11th).
