Beady Eye tour 'to include Oasis songs'
This summer's Beady Eye tour will feature Oasis songs, frontman Liam Gallagher has revealed.
Speaking to Xfm, the Brit pop star said the group will start playing tracks written by his former band at live gigs from now on.
Beady Eye are scheduled to play at the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan in July and they will be performing Oasis hits as part of their set, he stated.
"The time is right now, without a doubt," he said. "I feel they're just as much my songs as they are Noel's. And if people don't like it, go to the bar ... if they do like it, jump up and down, let's have a good time."
He explained Beady Eye have always planned to play Oasis tracks but they wanted to focus on showcasing their album first.
The frontman also revealed the group will soon start work on their second LP, which could come out next year.
Fuji Rock Festival will be held between July 27th and 29th and will also feature performances from Radiohead and The Stone Roses.
