Belfast reviewer praises Michael McIntyre gig
Michael McIntyre's stand-up gigs in Belfast have been well reviewed by one Northern Irish critic.
Writing for the Belfast Telegraph, Kerry McKitterick said that the comedian "won over" the crowd.
In a departure from traditional comedy shows, McKitterick added, McIntyre does not repeat the same jokes every night, making for a fresh show every time.
"With this tour McIntyre is firmly placing himself up there with comedy heavyweights," Ms McKitterick wrote.
"He seemed to enjoy himself as much as the audience did. The night flew by and genuine regret was when he left the stage."
She added that she hoped McIntyre would return to Northern Ireland.
The funny-man still has a number of gigs left to play as part of his stand-up tour.
Tonight (November 2nd) McIntyre will play London's O2 Arena, before heading to the Brighton Centre to play six gigs from the 4th to the 9th.
