Beyonce conquers album chart ahead of T in the Park show
News that her album has shot to number one is sure to buoy Beyonce as she prepares to perform in front of those with T in the Park tickets this weekend.
The Single Ladies singer's latest record 4 went straight to the top of the album chart, possibly on the back of her electrifying show at Glastonbury.
Beyonce headlined the festival with a host of classic tracks and brand new songs.
She was met with a fantastic reception from fans and critics alike, proving that music festivals can be a great showcase for all genres of music.
The Destiny's Child frontwoman now has two albums in the top 40, as her 2008 record I Am… Sasha Fierce is still at number 38.
This weekend, she will be taking to the main stage at T in the Park, performing just before Coldplay on Saturday July 9th.
Other acts due to headline at this year's festival in Kinross, Scotland include Arctic Monkeys, Plan B, Foo Fighters and Pulp.
