Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi: I've got loads of ideas for new songs
With Black Sabbath reunion tour tickets soon to go on sale, fans may be excited to hear the band's guitarist Tony Iommi has plenty of ideas for new songs.
Speaking to Gibson.com while promoting his new autobiography Iron Man: My Journey Through Heaven and Hell with Black Sabbath, the musician said he likes to spend time writing music at home.
"I'm bursting at the seams with ideas right now, all the time," he stated. "Some, I wouldn't use on a new Black Sabbath album, I'd have to change them."
The interview occurred before the band announced their reunion on November 11th, when they also promised a new record for fans.
Iommi did not let slip when talking to reporters the group would be making a comeback, although he said he would love to play with the outfit again with its original line-up.
People who want to get their hands on Black Sabbath tickets could pick up passes to Download Festival this Friday (November 18th), as the band will be headlining the last night of the event next year.
