Brit Awards prizes redesigned by Sir Peter Blake
The Brit Awards 2012 will see winners take home a prize with a new look, as the statues have been redesigned by Sir Peter Blake.
Last year, the trophy was created by fashion designer Dame Vivienne Westwood and was presented to a host of the UK's biggest music stars, including Plan B, Laura Marling, Tinie Tempah, Take That, Jessie J and Mumford & Sons.
Sir Peter said: "It is wonderful to be a part of this most important and exciting music event, honouring the greatest of talents shaping our musical landscape."
The artist has previously designed iconic album sleeves, such as that of The Beatles' Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Brit Awards tickets have already gone on sale for the event, which will be held on February 21st 2012.
The prize-giving ceremony was first held at the Wembley Conference Centre in 1977 and was organised to celebrate the Queen's Silver Jubilee.
