Bruce Springsteen album 'nearly finished'
The album being promoted via the Bruce Springsteen tour in 2012 is nearly finished, a source claimed.
Bob Seger told Rolling Stone magazine he had met the Boss backstage in New York and spoken with him about the record.
"He says it's really unusual and that it's the best thing that he's done in years," the musician told the news provider.
This may be exciting for people with tickets to a Bruce Springsteen concert who cannot wait to hear the new songs, although the occasion may also be sad for some, as the 2012 tour will be going ahead without one legendary E Street Band member.
Saxophonist Clarence Clemons - otherwise known as The Big Man - recently died of complications following a stroke at the age of 69.
Bruce Springsteen was quoted by Rolling Stone as saying: "Clarence doesn't leave the E Street Band when he dies. He leaves when we die."
Clemons' friend Don Reo recently urged fans to sing the artist's solos loudly in his honour when they go to the Boss's concerts in an article for the Hornell Evening Tribune.
