Bruce Springsteen joins the Gaslight Anthem for concert
Bruce Springsteen has made a special guest appearance at a Gaslight Anthem gig in the US.
This is not the first time the Boss has performed with the New Jersey band, as he took to the stage with them in 2009 at two UK gigs to play The 59 Sound.
A Bruce Springsteen tour is planned for 2012 that will see him perform with The E Street Band at venues across the UK in June, including Manchester's Etihad Stadium and the Stadium of Light in Sunderland.
Fans eager to attend a Bruce Springsteen concert will also be able to see him headline the Isle of Wight Festival and Hard Rock Calling, due to take place in London's Hyde Park. New material could well be on the setlist, as Rolling Stone recently reported that his latest album is nearing completion.
Springsteen sang and played guitar on the Gaslight Anthem's American Slang track during his surprise appearance at the weekend, which came at the Convention hall in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
