Bruce Springsteen to headline Hard Rock Calling 2012
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have been confirmed as the headline act for the Hard Rock Calling 2012 festival in London's Hyde Park.
The event will be held between July 13th and 15th next year and The Boss is the first artist to have been announced for the line-up.
Hard Rock Calling tickets will be available to the general public from December 3rd at 10:00 GMT, while a presale will be held the previous morning, starting at 09:00 GMT.
In 2011, as many as 150,000 people attended the event when The Killers, Bon Jovi and Rod Stewart were headlining and the return of Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band may see music lovers rush to get their hands on passes for next summer.
Last time the outfit played at the festival was in 2009 and president and chief executive officer of Hard Rock International Hamish Dodds described the concert as "one of the greatest live performances" ever witnessed at the three-day gig.
"We look forward to having them back for Hard Rock Calling 2012, for what is sure to be another iconic show," he stated.
More bands will be announced for the Hard Rock Calling line-up soon.
