Bruce Springsteen to headline Isle of Wight Festival
The final day of the Isle of Wight Festival 2012 will be headlined by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
Next year's event will be held between June 22nd and 24th and tickets will be going on sale tomorrow (November 25th).
Despite Springsteen being the only act confirmed so far, there could be a rush for tickets, as The Boss has only played two UK festivals in the past and has never been to the Isle of Wight.
"It's taken years to get him here, but it will have been worth the wait," promoter of the event John Giddings said.
"He is one of the greatest acts of all time, it's going to be a classic year," he added.
Isle of Wight Festival 2012 rumours for the event's line up have been circulating, but the organisers denied on Twitter that there is any truth to the speculation Madonna will be headlining.
