Bryan Adams donates backstage passes to village fete
Bryan Adams tickets, which are currently in high demand ahead of the star's visit to the UK later this year, will be available to the highest bidder at a Cumbrian village's charity fete this weekend.
Great Corby in northern Cumbria will host an event on Sunday (July 24th) featuring fundraising initiatives including an auction for tickets and a backstage pass for Adams' forthcoming gig in Newcastle.
The Canadian rocker personally donated the items because he knows the brother of one of the people organising the fete, reports the News and Star.
He also supports the Thandi Project Wish List for African babies, one of the charities that the event will raise money for.
Adams is famous for songs like (Everything I Do) I Do it for You, which spent 16 consecutive weeks at the top of the singles charts in 1991.
His forthcoming tour of the UK will feature shows at venues including Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena (November 24th), the Glasgow SECC (November 25th) and the O2 (December 8th).
