Chase and Status planning new album
Chase & Status, who will be entertaining revellers with Wireless festival tickets this weekend, have revealed that they are already planning their next album.
The duo released their second record, No More Idols, in January this year and saw it peak at number two in the UK charts.
Blind Faith, one of five singles released from the album, made it to number five, while End Credits featuring Plan B also broke into the top ten.
Speaking to Gigwise, Will Kennard of Chase & Status revealed that he and co-writer Saul Milton are thinking about ideas for new tracks and could take some inspiration from their experience at this year's Glastonbury festival.
"We're in the process of starting work on the new album, getting ideas together," he said.
"It's quite inspiring to be at festivals – all the new and upcoming talent. It's a good way for us to get some ideas."
The Wireless festival will come to Hyde Park from July 1st to 3rd, bringing the likes of Example, Tinie Tempah and the Hives with it.
