Cheryl Cole in row with former X Factor star
X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has become embroiled in a row with one of the shows former contestants.
The singer is in a spat with Rowetta Satchell, who appeared in the first series of the X Factor in 2004, over the use of her voclas on one of the Girls Aloud star's songs.
According to the Sun, Cheryl wants to create a version of Fight For This Love sampling the former Happy Mondays singer for a performance at the Brit Awards next week (February 16th).
But Rowetta is only happy for Cheryl to use her vocals if she gets to perform them herself on stage.
She told the newspaper: "Her record company asked to use my sample but wanted an 'anonymous face'.
"I said I'm be happy to perform but they don't want that.
"Imagine if I wanted to sample Cheryl and got someone to mime to her voice. That would never be allowed."
The X Factor live tour gets underway at Liverpool's Echo Arena on February 15th.
