Chris Martin: Lady Gaga writes better choruses
Choruses of the songs performed at a Lady Gaga concert are likely to better than those written by Chris Martin, the Coldplay frontman has admitted.
Speaking to the Sun, he hailed the pop star's talent for penning catchy tunes.
"I just admire all of the hats and the dresses and the madness and everything because I know that underneath it all she can beat me at writing choruses," he remarked.
The singer does not currently have any plans to tour the UK, but demand for Lady Gaga tour tickets is likely to be high in the wake of the success of her most recent album Born This Way, which was released earlier in the year.
Gaga recently revealed she is already working on a follow-up and Martin described the phenomenon as "very sweet", adding: "I think what undercuts it all, though, is that she's talented and writes everything."
Her most recent UK performance was at Manchester's MEN Arena on November 17th, when she appeared on the same bill as a host of other stars at a Children in Need benefit concert.
