Coldplay fan pays homage to band in Chris Martin's garden
While it may not be unusual to see fans sing along to their favourite tunes at Coldplay tour dates, fewer people have decided to give their rendition of the tracks in the garden of the band's frontman Chris Martin.
However, the singer recently told the Daily Mirror that one man did just that, having climbed over the gate on to the property he shares with wife and Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
"It was bordering on intrusion. Still, it’s nice that people like the songs," the celebrity commented.
The fan sang to his friends on the street, but after a few tunes, Martin got involved, saying: "Listen, you're just not doing that right."
After the 34-year-old made this remark, the fan "politely left", the musician told the news provider.
The enthusiast who decided to pay homage to the group in Martin's garden may be better off buying Coldplay tickets 2012 to see one of the seven gigs the band will play in England next year.
Shows have been confirmed for London, Sunderland, Coventry and Manchester in May and June.
