Could Kasabian and Radiohead play Hard Rock Calling?

Rumours are emerging that Radiohead and Kasabian could be part of next year's Hard Rock Calling line-up.

Efestivals noted there has been speculation the two bands may be playing at the three-day summer event.

However, the only act officially confirmed for the Hard Rock Calling Festival is Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.

The Boss will be headlining the second day of the event, which runs from July 13th to 15th in London's Hyde Park.

According to efestivals, there are strong rumours Kasabian could be announced as one of the other acts, while the speculation Radiohead will perform is weaker.

Both groups will be embarking on a world tour in 2012, but neither has any gigs booked in for mid-July, which could mean it is possible for them to play at the event.

Radiohead will be performing in the US in February and March next year before going on to shows in Mexico and Europe, but no UK dates have yet been announced.

Meanwhile, Kasabian will be playing in Asia, including shows in Singapore and Japan, as well as Australia, New Zealand and Europe in the first three months of 2012.
