David Haye 'can adapt to any style' says trainer
Adam Booth, trainer and manager of David Haye, believes the fighter's adaptability will help him defeat Wladimir Klitschko when the two heavyweights meet this July.
On paper, the Ukrainian would appear to have the advantage, with three extra inches in height and reach and around two stone extra weight.
But Booth thinks Haye's ability to change his fighting style depending on his opponent will help him overcome this.
"David has the ability to adapt his style. If you look at his fights against Audley (Harrison), (John) Ruiz, (Nikolay) Valuev, (Enzo) Maccarinelli, (Oleksandr) Hurov, he fights differently and it's about choosing what's going to work for Wladimir," he told voice-online.co.uk.
Excitement has already begun building around the fight, which will see the winner crowned undisputed heavyweight champion.
"This is one of those fights that comes around maybe once a decade. That alone should draw interest," said Booth.
"If you look at the styles of the fighters, the attributes that they bring to the table, it’s going to be one exciting fight."
David Haye takes on Wladimir Klitschko at the Imtech Arena in Hamburg, Germany on July 2nd.
