Download Festival pitches Metallica against Black Sabbath
Download Festival tickets holders have been encouraged to make a hypothetical decision by the organisers of the event, who have pitched two rock greats against each other by asking fans whether they would rather see Metallica or Black Sabbath on stage.
A post on both the official Facebook and Twitter pages of the concert posed the question and received hundreds of replies.
With 967 comments made on the message on Facebook this morning (November 16th), it was difficult to tell which group had won out, with fans appearing very excited to see both outfits.
Fortunately, people with Download Festival 2012 tickets will not actually have to choose between the bands, as they will both be headlining the event next year.
Metallica will be playing on the second day (June 9th), while Black Sabbath will draw the concert to a close the next night.
The groups are the only ones to have been announced for the Download Festival 2012 line-up so far.
