Download Festival tickets on sale on Friday
Download Festival tickets will go on sale this Friday morning (November 18th) and there could be a rush to snap them up among heavy metal fans, as some big names have been confirmed for the line-up.
Only two bands have been announced for the event so far, but both are huge crowd pullers.
Metallica will be playing on the second day, performing The Black Album in its entirety, while the newly reformed Black Sabbath will be closing the festival on the last night.
Download Festival concert tickets can be bought from 09:00 GMT on Friday, with the dates for the event announced as June 8th to 10th 2012.
There could be even greater demand than usual for passes to get into the event, as next year marks its tenth anniversary and it seems like there is a lot of excitement about the line-up.
Indeed, the official Download Festival Twitter account had plenty of enthusiastic messages from fans to retweet, while the event's booker and promoter Andy Copping posted that he was "glad" everybody seemed thrilled to hear Metallica would be performing their famous record.
"It's truly special," he stated.
