Drake announces UK arena tour
A nine-date Drake tour that will see the Canadian play arenas across the UK is to get underway next March.
The Grammy-nominated hip-hop star will kick off the shows with a gig at the O2 Arena in London on March 26th, before moving on to perform in Sheffield and Cardiff later in the month.
During April, Drake will be playing gigs in Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and Newcastle, before rounding off the tour in Nottingham on April 25th.
Fans who secure Drake tickets for 2012 will likely hear him perform many tracks off his new album Take Care, which was released four weeks ago in Britain and currently sits inside the top 50 on the official album chart.
The lead single from the album - also titled Take Care and featuring Rihanna, is at number 14 on the singles chart, a month after release.
Tickets for all the shows go on sale at 09:00 GMT on December 16th.
