Ed Sheeran announces new tour dates
Extra Ed Sheeran tour dates 2012 have been announced after most gigs sold out very quickly yesterday (January 25th).
The singer's website experienced problems when it was hit with "phenomenal traffic" during the presale of tickets for the shows.
"We've book[ed] enough tour dates to satisfy demand, if a show sells out, don't worry, another will be announced shortly," the musician posted on social networking site Twitter.
Indeed, new dates were added yesterday evening, with additional gigs announced at the London HMV Hammersmith Apollo in October - increasing the number of performances the singer will put on at the venue to four in a row.
Other extra shows include one at Birmingham's Ballroom, two at Manchester's Apollo and one each at Doncaster's Dome, Newcastle's City Hall and Glasgow's Barrowlands.
The singer has so far announced 22 dates in the UK, but Ed Sheeran tickets have sold out at 17 of these, including three of the ones in London.
