Ed Sheeran wants Jessie J duet
Ed Sheeran tour dates 2012 could feature a guest appearance from Jessie J, as the duo seem set to record a duet.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Sheeran said the pair are "talking about" a project that would be more than just one appearing as guest vocalists on the other's song.
"I want it to be a genuine collaboration where we both sing equal amounts," he remarked.
The idea also seems popular with Jessie J, who confirmed she wants to work with the Lego House singer in an interview with Capital FM.
She told the station's Rich and Kat that the two are eager to work together in the studio and added she has "just not stopped listening" to Sheeran's album.
"I definitely think he's someone that's setting the standard for British music higher and higher," the Price Tag singer added.
Ed Sheeran tickets are currently available for the artist's tour around the UK this month and he is also due to perform at the BRIT Awards 2012 in London next month, where he is nominated for four awards.
