England beats India in Twenty20 game
England has claimed victory over India in the lone Twenty20 international game.
The team won by six wickets at Old Trafford on Wednesday, finishing on 169 for four with three balls to spare.
World Twenty20 champions England received a major boost in its campaign for victory thanks to a formidable performance by Eoin Morgan.
However, it was seamer Jade Dernbach who was named as man of the match for his return of four for 22 that limited India to 165.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Stuart Broad said: "Morgan played pretty well, and then for Ravi and Samit to finish it off was pretty special.
"We came back at India very well, especially in restricting them to 165 after the start they got."
India had made a promising start to the game with 104 for one, with Ajinkya Rahane making 61 off just 39 balls in this Twenty20 international debut.
However, the team's innings began to fall away after batsmen Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir fell out due to injuries.
Cricket fans will now be able to see England playing India later this month, as they make the most of their one-day international tickets.
