England fans with Ashes tickets to see team 'fight hard' in Adelaide, says Flower
Those with Ashes tickets to the upcoming second Test in Adelaide could see England attempt to cash in on Australia's worn out bowlers, Andy Flower has suggested.
England, who at one point looked like they may lose the first Test in Brisbane on the weekend, gave an imperious batting performance in the second innings, declaring at 517-1.
And Flower hopes the team can take that momentum and confidence into the second Test.
He also suspects that bowling for so long for such little return will also have wearied the Australian bowlers to England's advantage.
"Ideally you want to move on as quickly as possible whether you've done well or poorly in the last match, but obviously there is fatigue for some of the bowlers after long spells. Confidence, or lack thereof, is passed from one match to the next," AFP quotes him as saying.
"I expect them to fight hard and I expect our team to fight hard," he added.
The second Test takes place at the Adelaide Oval and begins on December 3rd.
