England to hold open training session at Twickenham

As well as booking England rugby internationals tickets to see the top players in action next month, fans can pay a visit to Twickenham to meet members of the team and wish them well ahead of the World Cup.

It has been announced that the national side will host an open training session at the famous stadium on August 9th.

The players will train from 16:30 to 17:50, before supporters are invited to come to the pitch to collect autographs and wish the team good luck.

Entry to the stadium is free and the gates will open at 15:30.

The open training session will take place between two international matches against Wales on August 6th and 13th.

England manager and former World Cup-winning captain Martin Johnson said: "We are really looking forward to the public session at Twickenham.

"The squad really appreciate all the support, especially in this World Cup year, and this is a great chance for the players to train on a test pitch ahead of the return leg against Wales and then to meet the public afterwards. We hope as many people turn out as possible."
