Eric Clapton adds more shows to European tour
Eric Clapton has added a run of European dates to follow his tour of the UK next spring.
Fans in Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic are likely to be eagerly awaiting the chance to see the Layla singer celebrate his 50-year anniversary in the music industry.
Tickets for the rock legend's UK 2013 tour are already available and are likely to be selling quickly.
The guitarist's first UK date is due to take place at the LG Arena in Birmingham on May 13th.
He will then play at the Manchester Arena on the 14th before a string of seven dates at the Royal Albert Hall in London between May 17th and 26th.
Eric Clapton plans to reunite with members of his long-term backing band for the shows, Doyle Bramhall II, Steve Jordan and Willie Weeks.
One of the most critically acclaimed guitarists in the world, Clapton is ranked number four in Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time and has been added to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three times.
