Eric Clapton adds nine German dates to 2013 tour
Eric Clapton has announced the final dates of his 2013 tour of Europe, with all nine of his additional gigs taking place in Germany.
Following his shows in the UK, the singer will take to the stage at venues in Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg and Munich, among others.
Clapton's nine-day stint in Great Britain consists of sets at the LG Arena in Birmingham and the Manchester Arena on May 13th and 14th respectively, before the remaining gigs at the Royal Albert Hall in London until May 26th.
The Tears in Heaven star will perform alongside his long-term backing band throughout the duration of the tour, with the inclusion of two newcomers Paul Carrack and Greg Leisz on the keyboard and pedal steel guitar.
Eric Clapton recently made the headlines after he sold a painting by established German artist Gerhard Richter for £21.3 million at a London auction.
