Everything 'going according to plan' says Schumacher
Formula One star Michael Schumacher has insisted that his season is on track despite a run of mediocre performances.
The German driver came out of retirement to race for the new Mercedes team this year.
So far, however, he has been unable to find the form that propelled him to seven world championships before his spell out of the cockpit.
In the first three races of the 2010 season, Schumacher has scored just nine points, thirty fewer than current leader Filipe Massa.
But amid speculation the 41-year-old could be reconsidering his comeback to motor racing, Schumacher has voiced his happiness in his current position.
"Admittedly, the last two races have not been very fortunate for me, but I am very much aware of the reasons for it," Schumacher claimed.
"I know how things go in F1 and, if you look into the detail of the two races, I think everything is still going according to plan."
The next stop for this year's Formula One season is the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai, which gets underway on April 18th, with qualifying taking place the day before.
