Fallen Empires 'may not be the only Snow Patrol record this year'
The Snow Patrol Fallen Empires album that will be released in November may not be the only record from the group to hit the shelves this year.
Speaking to Scottish news provider STV, bassist of the band Pablo Wilson explained there were some tracks that have not made it to the LP but are good enough to be sold to fans.
Those with Snow Patrol tickets to see the outfit live on their forthcoming tour may be surprised by the music from the new album, which is released on November 14th.
Wilson explained the group had taken a different approach to some of their tracks and one is "crazily different", but he thinks this is the best record they have ever sold.
Perhaps this had to do with the surroundings the band wrote the music in, as the bassist said Fallen Empires is the only one of their albums to be made in California.
"All of our albums have been recorded in doom and gloom in the rain or in the middle of nowhere, so it's quite nice to have a bit of sunshine when we were recording," he said.
Snow Patrol dates for 2012 include gigs in Dublin, London, Belfast, Manchester and Glasgow.
