Fans throwing fake grenades at Bruno Mars gigs

Bruno Mars has announced three UK shows

Those with Bruno Mars tickets have taken to throwing fake grenades on to the stage while the singer is performing.

And Mars has admitted that the practice, a reference to his hit song Grenade, is slightly unnerving for him.

Speaking to the Daily Star, he said: "Since '’ve been singing Grenade I've been getting more fake ones thrown at me.

"At first it was cute now it's beginning to spook my band out.

"With the stage lights on you can’t see anything. It's dangerous and scares the sh*t out of me."

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old’s latest single The Lazy Song could make it to number one in the UK charts this week.

"The Lazy Song is fun. It's about those days when you don't want to wake up, just hang around the house and watch TV," said Mars.

The singer has recently announced three UK shows this summer, starting at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo on August 16th.
