Fernando Alonso says debut season at Ferrari is his best in F1
Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso has said that this current season has been his best in Formula One to date.
The Spaniard joined the famous Italian team from Renault this year and, despite enjoying two world championship-winning seasons in the past, says he has enjoyed this year more than any in his career.
"Driving for a new team, I've had a great integration at Ferrari from day one. It has been a best year in my career so far - a great experience."
Alonso still has a shot at landing this year's title. But with 14 points between him and leader Mark Webber with just three races remaining, his chances seem slim.
"We will see how it ends this year, but in terms of happiness, in terms of motivation, driving, the team itself, it is the best. Obviously it would be nice to become champion this year but if we cannot do it I will have great, great memories of 2010 anyway," said Alonso.
The next race of the 2010 Formula One season is the Korean Grand Prix on October 24th.
