Flintoff predicts those with Ashes tickets will see England victory
Andrew Flintoff has predicted that those with Ashes tickets will see England edge a narrow victory.
England begin their defence of the Ashes in Australia this week, looking to record their first series victory down under since 1987.
And Flintoff, who won the famous urn twice with England, thinks the team has the talent to do it.
"Looking at the two teams, I reckon we'll beat them," he told BBC Sport. "It's going to be interesting watching it but I think we'll just edge it."
He also backed out of form batsman Kevin Pietersen to play a key role in an England win.
"Kevin's taken a bit of stick recently because of his form but he's too good not to score runs," he said.
"In 2006/7, when it went wrong for a lot of people, he came back and scored more then 500 runs. I think he'll do a similar thing this time."
The first Test of this year's Ashes gets underway in Brisbane on Thursday, November 25th.
