Flood promises those with autumn international tickets England will go for win against South Africa.

England play South Africa this weekend

Those with autumn international tickets to England's upcoming game against South Africa can expect the home side to go for the win, according to fly-half Toby Flood.

The Leicester player said that he had been disappointed with the way England played in their recent game with Samoa and will look to make amends against the Springboks.

England beat Samoa 23-16 but needed to work hard for the points and trailed the visitors for a spell in the first half.

Despite winning, the standard of England's play was far from that which saw them sweep aside Australia 35-18 the week before.

South Africa, meanwhile, suffered a shock defeat to Scotland in their last game.

"We are disappointed with how we played," said Flood. "It's nice to have that experience in some respects but it was a wake-up call for us.

"South Africa will be stung. Scotland quite like making life difficult for us - it seems to be part of their job!

"It's hugely important for us to win. We came into this autumn wanting to win three games and we are two-thirds of the way there."

England take on South Africa at Twickenham on November 27th.
