Florence and the Machine play new material at LA concert
New material fans can expect to hear on next year's Florence and the Machine tour was giving an airing by the singer at a concert in the US at the weekend.
The band took to the stage at the annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas show in Los Angeles and performed a setlist that included a rendition of new single No Light, No Light.
Never Let Me Go, also taken from their latest album Ceremonials, was well received by the crowd and MTV noted the powerful vocals of frontwoman Florence Welch had the ability to "move people to tears".
This was the second time the band had performed at the show and the news source observed that while they received a "huge welcome" on their debut in 2010, their fanbase has "increased tenfold" in the past year.
Fans desperate to see a Florence and the Machine concert will have to wait until March next year, when the band embarks on a nationwide tour.
