Foo Fighters concert news: New album was a family affair
Ahead of the forthcoming Foo Fighters concert in the UK, frontman Dave Grohl has revealed how his whole family helped out with the band's new album.
Called Wasting Light, the record was made almost entirely at Grohl's garage, which the band used as a second home during the process.
Speaking to the Sun, Grohl revealed that he enjoyed having his wife and daughter around during recording.
"I asked my wife Jordyn if it was OK and she was really cool about it," he said.
"She knows that this is my life and how important it is to me and it brought everyone in even closer.
"My kids became a part of every day and my band members became friends with my kids. In 20 years when they're two grown women, these guys will probably be telling them stories about the time they came up and made coffee for everyone."
Later this year, the Foo Fighters play two shows at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes on June 2nd and 3rd.
Both gigs will see support from Biffy Clyro, while the first night will also see Death Cab for Cutie perform and the second will see Jimmy Eat World take to the stage.
