Foo Fighters treat fans to surprise gig
Foo Fighters, who will be rocking out for the entertainment of music lovers with Isle of Wight Festival tickets this weekend, delighted their fans at the weekend with a surprise gig in California.
Dave Grohl and co made an unannounced appearance at the KROQ Weenie Roast concert in Irvine on Saturday (June 4th).
Following a set by punk outfit Rise Against, the Verizon Amphitheatre stage revolved to reveal the band.
Grohl yelled 'Surprise!' to the jubilant crowd before launching into a performance of All My Life.
During the one-hour gig, the Foos combined hits like Everlong, Best of You and Monkey Wrench with songs from their new album, such as Rope and Walk.
The following night saw the band play at the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles.
They will be heading to the UK this week in preparation for their headline show at the Isle of Wight Festival on Saturday (June 11th).
Kings of Leon and Kasabian will be topping the bill on Friday and Sunday respectively.
