Footballer's charity event to host McFly concert?
A charity event being hosted by a professional footballer could become a venue for a McFly concert, it has been reported.
The news comes as McFly tickets go on sale today (December 1st) for the band's upcoming UK Arena tour.
According to the Bolton News, Bolton striker Kevin Davies is organising a masquerade ball at the Reebok Stadium for his charity Kids of Bolton next year.
He recently appealed via his Twitter page for bands to play at the event.
McFly singer Danny Jones posted a message soon afterwards saying the band might be interested in doing it, says the news provider.
"We should do it! We should come play live," he wrote, adding a few seconds later: "Plus I am from Bolton haha."
McFly are scheduled to play a number of large arena venues as part of their UK tour next year.
The band kicks things off at the Trent FM Arena in Nottingham on March 12th.
