Former captains expect England to dominate Test cricket
Two former England captains, Michael Vaughan and Alec Stewart, have predicted that the current international side have the potential to dominate Test cricket for the next few years.
England are now ranked the world's number one Test side after beating India at Edgbaston to clinch a four-match series.
Vaughan said the team have all the attributes to make them a lasting force in the game, including a big pool of talent to choose from and a good attitude.
"I really think this side are going to dominate Test cricket for a period because of their strength in depth, fitness levels, determination and the real hunger they display," he told BBC Sport.
Stewart highlighted the quality of England's bowling attack as a key element of their success.
"I believe they can go on and dominate for some time now. To win a game you have to take 20 wickets, and our bowling attack is capable of doing that in any conditions," the former batsman and wicket keeper said.
Cricket lovers can order npower Test match tickets to see the final game in the series at the Oval or book places at some of the forthcoming Twenty20s and one-day internationals between England and India.
