Gary Barlow 'the new Simon Cowell'
Gary Barlow may be set to continue performing in front of fans with Take That tickets at Wembley this week, but he's also working hard on the X Factor contest.
The singer has accepted a job on the judging panel for the TV talent show, replacing music mogul Simon Cowell.
According to presenter Dermot O'Leary, he's taken a tough attitude with some of the contestants in the early auditions, just like his predecessor.
"Barlow has taken Simon's role," the show's host told the BBC's Newsbeat, describing the Take That star as "majestic" and even "presidential".
"You expect him to say, 'thank you very much love I quite liked that' but he'll say, 'it was all going so well and then you started singing'."
Gary and his bandmates are performing another four dates at Wembley Stadium as part of their Progress Liver tour, before moving on to Italy, Denmark, Holland and Germany.
